This Month in Slice...
A letter from the CEO
With there now being less than two months to go til Black Friday, you may have noticed a shift in the emails, in mails, and DMs you’ve been receiving in the past few weeks. As we move towards Q4, the conversation changes from product development and nailing your creative to maximising performance marketing and getting as many sales as possible.
This yearly shift towards maximising sales is always interesting to watch play out, because nothing exists in isolation, especially in eCommerce. And that’s especially true this month, with our work showcasing every discipline within the world of eCommerce and how they all work together for a brand to succeed.
Plus, we’ve been keeping a keen eye on the wider retail space as we head towards peak trade - we're founded by retailers after all. So, let’s cut through the noise and provide you with all of this month’s eCommerce news.
Chris & Team Cake
It wouldn’t be a normal month for us without a go live to talk about. In fact, we’re almost averaging one go live a week as we head into Q4.
We’ve kept it rolling this month, with three new eCommerce sites going live. Each one has its own unique story to tell, with equestrian supplies retailer Equiport undertaking a migration to Shopify, mystery football shirt retailer Surprise Shirts undertaking a full brand uplift, and American shoe outlet store Peltz Shoes having all of the insights and optimisations of their Mobius Audit implemented and more.
