This Month in Slice...
A letter from the CEO
There’s only 28 days to go until we’re on the other side of Black Friday. By this point, you should be in the final stages of putting your plans into action and have a fleshed out idea for what you’re going to do afterwards as we head towards 2025.
We all know that big retail days like this don’t cause your other business processes to slow down. Those daily tasks are still required in November, in fact they become even more essential to make sure your business doesn’t get lost in the crowd.
The same is true for us too. Even as we gear up for Black Friday - and it’s looking like it will be a great one - we’re still busy putting sites live, keeping up to date with all things eCommerce, and making sure that you are too. So no matter what your plans for Black Friday are, we hope it goes well, and we’re always willing to help you reach eCommerce greatness be it next month or next Black Friday.

What we've done
Even as we batten down the hatches for Black Friday, we’ve continued to deliver even more great eCommerce stores this month.
With kid’s outdoor wear retailer, Roarsome, getting a major brand uplift and a migration to Shopify, self care and cosmetics retailer, Mollie and Sky, jumping on board our tried and tested Cake Shopify Theme, and newborn furniture retailer, Little Green Sheep, releasing the full potential of their store with some custom-built functionalities.
It’s a testament to the fact that we can build sites of all different shapes and sizes. And you can find out more about our Shopify development offering below.
In the last edition of the Slice we discussed how both Moss Bros and All Saints had introduced subscription offerings.
This spurred us to take a deep dive into how a subscription based eCommerce model actually works, and whether it could be a route for your business too.
If you’ve never considered a subscription model, this blog uncovers how they could potentially benefit your business. But, if you have considered one, then this is a must read to find out what kind of subscription you should go for, which integrations you need, and what the must-do’s are for your subscription model to succeed.
We’re definitely spreading the joy this month, as we’ve had five new starters join us from across all areas of the business.

EXPLOREFor ecommerce brands, no customer base is more important than the core set of dedicated, repeat customers. Figuring out how to best serve these customers is, of course, a top priority for any D2C brand. Having grown significantly over their two decades of trading, alternative fashion retailer, Disturbia, were ready to improve their offering for their most loyal customers. Through the development of an ecommerce app, they would be able to give their customers the best possible version of the online shopping experience.
EXPLOREA website migration is, without fail, one of the most transformative moves an eCommerce business can make. Whilst your existing platform may have felt like the best choice at the time, eventually, the potential upside of making the move becomes too much to ignore.
