This Month in Slice...
Already?
I’m not the only one who’s surprised a month has gone that quickly, am I? Sure hope not! Even with my surprise at the speed we are completing another rotation around the sun, we’ve had an eventful month at Cake Towers.
Throughout the first month of 2024 we’ve welcomed new starters, taken on new projects, and given our team a long overdue new look (stay tuned 👀). So, we can firmly say we’ve got off to a good start in 2024, and we’re looking to keep that momentum going through February. Want to be a part of that momentum? Make Valentine’s your brand’s moment with a final design sprint - Contact us here.
With that being said, let’s look back on all of our going-ons from January.
Chris & Team Cake
New Caker - Olivia Sutton
The Cake team has gotten that slightest bit bigger in the first month of the year. We’ve welcomed Olivia Sutton into her role as Junior eCommerce Executive. She is already smashing it and we can’t wait to introduce her to more clients.

Peltz Shoes - Mobius Audit
Peltz Shoes initially approached us in October of last year. They, like many brands, were unsure where their attention was best served when it came to scaling their brand. We conducted a holistic look at their site, using our Mobius Audit methodology. If you’re unsure whether the Mobius Audit is right for you, give the full case study a read and see if we can elevate your brand too.
“The Mobius Audit from Cake isn't just a surface-deep website audit that we've come to expect. Their team explored our entire tech stack and online presence to identify precise growth opportunities for our business. We were presented with quite a surprising look into our own brand, ways to elevate it, and tactics to drive more traffic. I was immediately sold.” Steve Chase, VP of Sales - Peltz Shoes
Shopify Vs its competitors
We’re proud Shopify Plus partners, but we’d be lying if we said that other platforms don’t also have their benefits too. In one of our latest blogs, we took a look at how Shopify racks up against some of its biggest competitors.
