10 great Shopify sites to inspire your own in 2025

Check out some of our favourite Shopify Stores.

When their potential is maximised, a Shopify store isn’t just a destination for a brand to sell products or services, it’s a full celebration of the brand and everything it has to offer. Not only do the best Shopify sites encourage users to progress through the purchase journey, but they’ll bolster a customer’s perception of a brand too, increasing the chances they become a multi-purchase customer.

This is the purpose of our eCommerce scorecard. To judge an eCommerce site against 6 metrics that ensure it encourages conversions, whilst reinforcing brand perception and strong customer lifetime value. A great eCommerce store (not including stores that are based on a subscription model) should get a pretty high score if not a perfect one.

As a Shopify Plus Agency, not only do we build sites ourselves but we take great inspiration from businesses across the eCommerce world. As a result, we’ve seen our fair share of great sites in our time. Let’s look at 10 of the best Shopify sites currently dominating the world of eCommerce, with a mix of our favourite references, and some of our own best work  in there too.

#1 - Roarsome

Designed & developed by Cake Agency’s in-house team, Roarsome is a children’s outdoor wear brand. Embodying all of the personality and colour that makes their products so popular, Roarsome’s eCommerce store is the brand house the business needs.

Whilst the site is full of features that make it conversion-ready, it also allows Roarsome to thoroughly express their brand’s ethos and values throughout.

With a user-friendly and intuitive navigation, an expansive product library, and an infusion of Roarsome’s brand, this store has everything we’d look for from a perfect eCommerce store. It’s no wonder they saw a 31% increase in add to cart rate once it went live.

#2 - Hexclad

Built by Shopify Plus Agency, The Vaan Group, Hexclad is an industry leading cookware brand, so it should be no surprise that they have an eCommerce store worthy of a chef’s kiss.

As is Vaan Group’s methodology, Hexclad’s site is a perfect balance of both brand and conversion. With a heavy presence of social proof through the use of reviews, tons of product information through dedicated landing pages, and the brand’s story balanced with consistent encouragement to progress users towards a conversion - it’s fitting that a brand built on a six sided shape would nail all 6 parts of our eCommerce scorecard.

#3 - Mark Bell’s Slingshot

Developed by Shopify Plus Agency, Codal, Mark Bell Slingshot is an California-based retailer of gym accessories and equipment. The brainchild of American powerlifter, Mark Bell, The SlingShot brand has seen continued growth since launching in 2010.

Whilst the Shopify site it calls home doesn’t have all the visual bells (ba-dum tss) and whistles of some of the others on this list, in terms of the raw functionalities we’d ask of a Shopify store, it absolutely nails it.

With a clear user journey from home page through to check out, the ability for users to sort, filter, and refine collections to find the best product for them, and a consistent styling throughout the entire store, it does everything a great Shopify Store should do.

#4 - P&Co

Designed and developed by Cake Agency’s in-house team, P&Co is a UK-based fashion brand. Not to brag, but we consider P&Co’s Shopify site to be the gold standard for eCommerce brands of all sizes. With a clear navigation, a seamless blend of brand reinforcing USPs and conversion-led UI design.

Taking centre stage is the site’s product card overlays, which clearly indicate product selling points such as sales, best sellers, and so on. Additionally, custom designed icons and an expansive description on each product page, both reinforce product quality and encourage conversions.

#5 - Deus Ex Machina

Developed by Shopify Plus Agency, The Working Party, and a personal favourite brand of our Head of Design, Chris Atherton, Deus Ex Machina is an Australian fashion brand drawing on influences of motorcycle culture and general lifestyle.

Their eCommerce store, although rocking a stripped back and simple user interface, has all of the major points we’d look for in our eCommerce Scorecard for boosting product view rate, add to cart rate, conversion rate, and brand perception.

Your product overlays, quick add to cart, and product swatches are all key here, encouraging conversions with ease. With an eye catching announcement bar to alert site-visitors to free shipping info, sales and more, just like other sites on this list, Deus Ex Machina’s site makes space for their brand to have a presence whilst pushing for purchases.

(Check out our easy announcement bar if you want a quick win for your site by the way)

#6 - Lifting Equipment Store

Designed & developed by Cake Agency’s in-house team, Lifting Equipment Store is a British wholesaler of construction equipment. A testament to the idea that B2B eCommerce can be just as pioneering as its D2C counterpart, Lifting Equipment Store’s Shopify site is both a brand powerhouse and conversion machine.

Lifting Equipment Store’s Shopify site has all of the features we’d look for in our eCommerce Scorecard and more. The site’s navigation and search functionality are the major players here, with the site allowing users to find their desired product quickly via the search bar, or explore options through a range of different navigation funnels. These include a shop by industry and shop by brand navigation in addition to your standard product collections. Certain sectors are slower to catch up to the consumer's needs, but with the quality of their Shopify storefront, Lifting Equipment Store makes it easy for B2B buyers to shop.

#7 - Scotch & Soda

Developed by Shopify Plus Agency NOGIN, Scotch & Soda is a global powerhouse in the world of fashion eCommerce. And with the quality of their Shopify site, it should be no surprise. With the expansive navigation that you should have come to expect at this point, but an equally expansive product library to pull from, the usability of Scotch & Soda’s Site really comes down to the quality of their collection & product pages.

With a huge choice of product filters to choose from, great merchandising across the home page, and a super responsive search bar, Scotch & Soda should have no problem getting users onto product pages.

Once there, a unique product image carousel, an easy to understand interface, and simple product descriptions encourage adding products to cart. Finally, the best converting checkout - Shopify’s very own - is all Scotch & Soda need to maximise their conversion rate.

This would get a very high score on the scorecard.

#8 - Konditor

Developed by Cake Agency’s in-house development team, Konditor is a London-based bakery chain.

Taking it a step further than your average Shopify Site, Konditor’s Shopify site also features a bespoke shipping app. This shipping app is key to Konditor managing their orders, as some products are available for national delivery, whilst others are only available locally to one of their brick and mortar stores.

Yet the user experience doesn't take a hit. Konditor’s site has the clear user journey from landing page to checkout, the brand’s key USPs have a presence throughout the entire site and users can checkout as guests. All of these elements combine to create one of our favourite Shopify sites.

#9 - Ouai

Built by Shopify Plus Agency, Presidio, Ouai’s Shopify Plus site is everything you’d expect from a global cosmetics brand. Ouai’s Shopify store has more of a brand presence than many of the other stores on this site, however this is generally considered a good move for brands with a heavy presence in retail stores, as many may not have knowledge of the brand’s wider world - only their product.

Outside of this sleek brand infusion, cheeky tone of voice, and endless high quality images Ouai’s site still has a solid foundation. With slick animations only adding to the user experience, thoughtfully written product descriptions, and another appearance of Shopify’s highly converting checkout. Ouai’s site smashes it Ouai out of the park.

#10 - Volcom

Developed by Shopify Plus Agency, SLTWTR, Volcom is an industry-leading sports supplies brand. Other than Lifting Equipment Store, who have a very particular customer, Volcom has the largest variety of products of any brand on this list. As a result they need a site that’s easy to navigate, no matter what type of customer has found their way to the site.

With clear, animation-led UI informing each touchpoint, Volcom's Shopify site is simultaneously one of the most brand-infused and built-for-conversion sites on this list.
