
Tweakit is a sustainable and refillable body care brand. On their ecommerce website, the brand offers a range of different powdered soaps, shampoos, and conditioners, which significantly cut down on plastic waste and make the experience easier for the customer.
We worked on a full CRM strategy as part of our ecommerce markeitng offering, specifically tailored for the business as a new start up, which would ensure users are engaged in the run up to the business launching and that all of the right flows are in place to keep things running smoothly once launch day came.

Our in-house CRM champions at Cake were brought into the mix and set out to discover how we could effectively communicate with Tweakit’s target audience.
Throughout the whole process, we needed to ensure that customer education was at the forefront whilst also concentrating on creating a community of like-minded individuals ready to make a change to a more sustainable product through relevant and compelling email content.
We started by onboarding our agency CRM partner, Klaviyo, who are seamlessly integrated within Tweakit’s ecommerce platform of choice, Shopify. Once integrated we were able to begin the strategic planning of the editorial calendar, automated flows, campaigns, and the website pop-ups that would drive email signatures.
Our strategy had two focuses; pre-launch and post-launch.
Starting at the pre-launch stage, the emails aimed to educate the user on updates to the product, packaging and also the company’s USP’s. Each email would tease a little bit more information to build up curiosity and leave the user feeling excited about what was to come.
We worked with our super-creative in-house designers to encapsulate the fun energy behind the brand. They created a series of gorgeous automated email, and campaign templates, which we could then build out to suit the needs of each campaign.
For the post launch stage, we kept the templates in place and built out an editorial calendar, to keep momentum going after the site had gone live - all the while, keeping brand objectives and retail dates in mind.

The CRM strategy we implemented provided Tweakit with a structured, end-to-end approach to customer engagement, from pre-launch teasers to post-launch retention.
By combining clear messaging, visually appealing email templates, and strategic timing, Tweakit launched with a strong foundation for customer retention and long-term growth.
