Tentbox is an ecommerce retailer of roof tents - a product giving customers the best of both worlds between a caravan and a tent.
In 2020, the brand saw extreme growth due to increased demand brought on by UK lockdowns, and the founders wanted to see it continue - setting themselves massive targets for 2022. However, Tentbox needed the data to back these targets up as well as the strategic marketing plan in place to achieve them.

Sales targets are essential, but when you aren’t using data driven solutions to achieve them, you’ll be unsure where to start. This is the exact reason we created our ecommerce Gross Demand Plan.
The Gross Demand Plan combines sales targets with financial and marketing data to build a blueprint for ecommerce growth. For TentBox, the Gross Demand Plan created a forecast of realistic targets and how much money needed to be invested to get there.
Running in parallel to The Gross Demand Plan, we produced a full marketing review. This review broke down TentBox’s channels and analytics, looking into how they were performing, and how they could perform better. Using this information, we were able to guide TentBox on what optimisations they could implement to hit the targets set out in the Gross Demand Plan.
All of this data meant we could put into action a full funnel marketing strategy - from awareness to conversion - that we knew could actually produce results.
From here we took over the steering wheel of TentBox’s paid media channels - both Meta and Google ads. We employed our full paid media strategy, optimising everything from targeting to designing bespoke assets, ensuring that every channel was built for conversion.

TentBox now had a series of data driven targets to reach for and a strategic marketing plan in place to achieve them.
The numbers do the talking - over the period of June to August 2022 TentBox’ saw the following results:
Those are some numbers we can get behind.
For Tentbox, our marketing strategies took the guesswork out of growth and our collaborative approach let them achieve above and beyond the goals they had laid out.

"The GDP has been vital in gaining a wider oversight of our business performance and future business potential. It’s been key to tracking KPI’s and allowing us to understand what we’ve achieved and where we can head."
